So many of my images from the rookery at High Island look the same, so I was please to photograph this Tri-Colored Heron among these complimentary flowers yesterday. I value your opinion and comments.

I too like the setting Dottie. Bird looks tack sharp. Well done.

Nice setting and pose with one leg raised. Overall I think this looks very nice. It appears to be over sharpened to me. I don't know how much sharpening you applied, but the bird looks a bit crunchy to me.

This is an awesome bird and habitat photo Dottie! I like how the bloom clusters surround the heron. Excellent details and exposure work.

Yea I kinda of thought it was a little over sharpened after I posted it too. I use a PS Plugin to sharpen, and I should have backed off on the sharpening slider in this image because it was sharp to start with. Thanks Keith for confirming my suspicion that it was a bit 'crunchy'.

I like this image, Dottie. The white flowers make a very nice habitat and background. I do like the repost better. I assume this means that the birds are closer in now.
