Black Skimmers

Here's a shot of Black Skimmers just as the male had mounted the female. This was taken at dawn at Rockport, Texas from out my car window on a recent trip there. I removed the leg of another skimmer in the bg. It's about 85% of the original image.

It's that time of year; no question. Nice light, and good work on the blacks and whites. Nice job getting the eyes distinct against the black caps.

Great image, Nate. I like the comp and the exposure really brings out the eye against the black. That Texas light is superior.

Very nice Nate. It should be labeled that is not for people under 15 (18...) years. You know me, I am so shy. But seriously (if you can believe it) i really like the catch in the eyes, it is hard to get these dark eyes.

Regards, Gorazd

Hello Nate

Nice Piggy-Back Image! Can see in the Image the Sweet Dawn Colours, gives an overall softening effect.
Fortunate to have Both Aligned & able to get Great Sharpness!
The Natural CatchLight finishes the Image !!
