Pond Abstract

A impressionistic view of a pond where I work. Again, this is not made by camera movement but wind. Another "lunch time" image. I only boosted the contrast and inverted the image. Hopefully the weather is better next week so I can use my new Canon G1 X at lunch time. It rained 4 days last week (including this weekend). So, no Super Moon for me tonight which I would have taken with my 5DM2.

Canon PowerShot G9
ISO100 1/60sec f/7.1
Hand held

Very cool! Love the "textured" effect.
Colours and the subtle detail of the trees is very effective.
A productive lunch time!

This is definitely one of the best of this type of shot I've seen. Well composed, wonderful texture and colors.

Excellent vision to isolate this part of the view. I think I would have enjoyed it in the original "upside-down" version, but this inverted treatment gives it a more impressionistic look, which works very well.

I am a little late to comment on this, Eva, but this is beautiful. The texture adds a lot to the image.

Wonderful "homage" to Cezanne or Monet. Love the colors and quality of textures.
