Another pic of Mt Rundle following some of the suggestions I received from my previous post.

The water would have been like glass if the ducks had not been swimming around. I was annoyed by this at first because I wanted a perfect reflection but after looking at this for awhile I started to apppreciate the waves the ducks left in the water, as it helped accentuate the chaos that was happening in the top half of the image.

As always I appreciate your comments and suggestions!

The ripples are a very minor element when there's so much else going on here. And if anything, they simply add yet another layer to the different lines, tones and textures (as you say... "chaos" is a nice way to put it). I love "busy" images like this that offer to much to explore visually. Nice work, Carey.

Very nicely done b&w. In particular, I like the graceful curve of the shore. It balances the 'chaos' .

I think one with ducks showing might work also. Nice capture.

Carey, I appreciate your composition and b&w conversion as well. The partially blurred reflection is spot on in my opinion.

A beautiful b/w Carey. I also like the reflection as it is. Awesome scene and a perfect b/w to my eye! Very nice!

A powerful B&W image, Carey! Good reflection, and I like the way that the cloud layers bisect
the mountain. Well composed.

Carey, this is a wonderful B&W. The low hanging clouds create a great mood. The tonality of black and white looks perfect to me.

The breaks in the reflection actually help the image for me by breaking the static nature of a reflection. The exposure looks great. Very dynamic image.

A friend of mine is getting married this summer and he met his fiance in Banff (where this picture was taken) so I thought a framed copy of this might make a nice wedding present but I wasn't sure if it was good enough. Based on all the positive comments I have received here, I feel confident now that they will appreciate this as a wedding gift. Thank you everyone for taking the time.
