Mike - Beautiful photo that uses the colorful Lupines for the Foreground. The tree anchors the composition very well while the fog adds a lot to the feel.

Great timing here, Michael. The soft light over the foreground and the fog in the background work exceptionally well for this beautiful scene. Nice, well balanced comp.

Ah, the beautiful lupines of New England. How I miss them. There are lupines in CA but no where near as dramatic as these are. Sure brings back memories. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful, Michael! Strong FG obviously, and for my tastes, proper cropping of the tree.
The Lupine in the BG left with the white barked trees really gives a feeling of depth.
The morning fog/mist is a real plus. Great even lighting. You might consider making
a print of this. Thanks for sharing.

This turned out pretty darn nice, Mike. I don't know what I was thinking that morning because I did not shoot any horizontals. This format frames the tree so much nicer and gives the viewer a much better sense of the lupine field.
