Nose-horned chameleon

This Nose-horned chameleon is a very small chameleon. With the tail included it is no longer than 10cm. The nose has a very strange shape. Out guide placed it on the stick to have us photographed it and of course placed it back afterwards. It was amazing to see how this guide was able to spot the tiniest animals!
Amber mountains NP, Madagascar.

A great species, well captured- Like the pose and the dark BG, that works very fine with the chameleon- I hope to visit that fantastic country someday- Thanks for sharing, Fabio

I'm constantly amazed at the guides that can spot these little creatures it's colors mimic everything around it. This is a great shot Ellen, that snout is precious and the colors and detail really very nice with a nice bg to set them off.
