I have put in a lot of time and effort with these guys, and have finally got something worth posting. Many of you know the difficulty of catching them while they are hiding in the bulrushes, hopping around, emerging briefly, then diving back into cover. They've been really active around here lately.

Nice job in waiting this guy out in the open Jim. Also nice to get this singing pose and I like the perch. I do see a bit of noise, particularly in the LP-perhaps a round of NR on the background?

I didn't see the noise until I posted. I put lots of effort into reducing it, but then it came back. I will try to do a repost with more noise reduction.

Wonderful singing pose in this elusive fellow. Nearly impossible to get a decent image of these guys, for the reasons you mentioned.
Re-post is great - nice detail and reeds.

Yes, great job of catching this pose..... these guys are hard to catch still for a moment.. We have Carolina wrens here in Virngina. .
