The Wall
by Jeffrey Sipress
I was in Las Vegas on a short non-photo trip and had an unusual moment of inspiration. So, I'm at the New York New York hotel/casino, begin to feel the need and head into the men's room. I'm standing there achieving my personal relief in sort of a sixty second mental stasis, and somehow, through the cloud of second hand smoke and alcohol haze universal to every casino, I notice this fabulous tile work on the wall before me. A moment of creativity lands on my shoulder as I finish my business, and before I leave the room, I whip out my iPhone, stabilize it against the wall, and press the only button on that so called camera. I begin to think about my depth of field, and quickly say 'Whoa, not this time', as I head out and drop another coupla hundred at the crap table.
