NPWC#529 - Oahu Wave

Taken on a trip to Oahu. I had never been before and I never knew there could be so much colors within the water. I like this shot for the color, as well as the stop motion of the wave with the contrast of the rock. I am still in awe of Hawaii and plan on going back again and again. I truly didn't want to leave, as being a native Pacific North-westerner I had never been exposed to tropical weather nor tropical scenes. And the warm weather, well, that was a plus being use to 50 degrees and gray skies...

It is amazing to see all the color variations in the water. You've got both the blues and the greens for this theme. Nice coastal shot with the rocks and crashing waves. I also love the tropics; in my case being the Carribbean. However, I have never been to the Pacific NW but that is on my bucket list of places to see. Hope you get back to Hawaii soon but don't forget to appreciate the beauty where you are! :wavey:

Blues and greens for sure.
Nice action.
On my monitor the front edge of rocks appears "soft". Crop?
