Is there a bluer sky than the Arizona desert in spring?

This looks like what I have in my backyard! I always love the contrast of the blue sky & the bright green palo verdes!

Certainly not anything I see in my backyard! The blue color of the sky is wonderful as a backdrop for the cactus and the brush. Love the sculptural feel of the cactus and its texture; they are fascinating plants. Like the bird on top too.

Excellent DOF and, as mentioned in other comments below, nice contrast to blue sky in BG. Well done Barry.

The side lighting is great and really sets off the contrast between the green plants and the deep blue sky. I agree with Carolyn about the sculptural feeling of the saguaro reaching through the sky.
