Roseate Spoonbill

Here is another shot from my recent trip to Ding Darling. This spoonbill was initially too far from me for a good shot. However, without notice, it just up and flew towards me. Panning and the fact that the bird was flying parallel to me as it passed, really helped overcome my single shot autofocus setting.

All comments most welcome.

Nice one Steve. Accurate color and good detail. I think I would clone out or otherwise remove the OOF wedge in the URHC.

Good color and nice detail especially visible in the larger version. Does it need a bit of CCW rotation?

Colors are beautfully rendered here and there is great detail in the bird., The bird really looks to pop out from the BG. Well done.

A bird so unattractive it is beautiful. Good shot.

Hey Steve,
good wing position and exposure. Some good suggestions below on further taking this up a notch.
