This is not a shamrock, but the pink and green seem seasonally appropriate anyway. I'm trying to decide whether it needs to be brightened a bit. Got the new LR 4 and a few sliders are different from 3.7.

Marylynne, I am not familiar with the species of flora, but the exposure looks spot on to me. I like the comp and DOF. Normally, I would like the center to be sharper, but the softer center works well here. I love the petal pattern and coloration. Very interesting and beautiful. My only nit is with the noise or graininess noticeable in the BG. You did not provide any data, so I'm not sure what caused it. Thanks for sharing this fine floral photo.

Thanks, Scott. It's a woodland geranium, native to Oregon. The ISO is onlyh 125, but it is focus stacked (two shots) but also cropped about 50%. Perhaps the crop is too much. I can run it through Dfine.

Nice comp and colors in this! The green veins in the pink petals really draw you in to the center of the flower.

Thanks, Fabio and Tonia. I like the pink and green and petal texture as well. These little beauties should be blooming again soon. I'll try LR 4.0's noise reduction brush on them.
