I found this spring scene today in the National Park Danube Floodplains in Lower Austria.

I really like profusions of wildflowers like this. You captured this well to show the beauty and the profusion.

I love how you were able to capture the rustic colors of the fallen autumn around the emerging green. It especially works well that the flowers are as dense as they are.

The flowers are beautiful, but I find the image a little flat. I like it better with about 1/4 taken off from the top.

Peter - I think less might be more with this one. Using the bottom 2/3 of the image hold the most interest for me. I still get the feel of the old and new growth-the far back is a little distracting for me. The foliage really pops from the leaves and scrub.

Wonderful sense of spring here and the soft light is perfect for photographing it.

Very nice Peter and typical for our time and place at the moment. I have to get out and catch some too - they are just too lovely.

Love it, this looks like my garden right now, except it's missing a light dusting of snow.

The contrast between the green plants/flowers and the dull, brown remnants of years past is superb. Really shouts spring to the viewer. Excellent work.

Hi Peter, Very nice work capturing the spring look and feel with this image. Wonderful depth you have in this scene which I really enjoy. I think I would have thought this was yours even without the name. Nice work.
