Abraham Mountain reflected on the frozen lake. Finding interesting foregrounds was like shooting fish in a barrell
Thanks for looking.

The foreground is indeed very interesting. I also like the reflections on the (melted?) ice. The top looks a little bright to me.

This is a really neat shot! I also agree however that the top seems a little too bright.

Lovely. Very strong foreground, but the follow through to the background is excellent too. The light has a nice balance to it.

Great cracks! I'm finding the bottom 2/3s quite a bit stronger than the top 1/3 where the light on the peaks isn't that attractive.

I love it. The foreground is wonderful and fits to the background very well. My only wish were for a shot from earlier in the morning with an even more moody light.

Dean,
Fantastic composition! The cool, almost pale colors are working very well here and quite natural. I would agree with others that I also think the top is a bit hot, but that can be addressed. Otherwise, very strong near/far composition. I like this very much.

Really nice comp and use of great foreground line and interest. Nice job. Maybe a little tight on the sky?

Nice Dean. I like this. I really like the way the center crack points right at the mountains drawing your attention into the frame.

Thanks everyone for looking and commenting. I do agree that the top seems too bright so I've redone the whole thing. With nothing going on in the sky I chose to remove as much as possible.
I might have gone too far the other way

Truly impressive crack in the ice. The overall composition is great and loved the colors.

A very striking image, Dean. I am especially enjoying the design of your composition.
Of the two versions, I prefer the original with its lower contrast.

Great placement of the crack in the ice. It really leads the eye around the rest of the image.
