Shot this guy a few weeks ago. He was unusually tame, though it was in a wildlife refuge. There was an immature in the same tree, and I just missed getting a shot of it diving on a group of ducks 50 feet in front of me while I was changing out my flash card. How do they know this stuff?

Cloned out a few twigs around the bird. Should I clone out more of them?
All comments and criticism appreciated.

Jim, Great catch! Really nice detail in the feathers.Too bad he wasn't curious enough to look at you for a second.
Does this need a little CCW rotation to starightrn him/her out to vertical? Not sure..
I'd personally clean up all the little twigs around the tail and thin the rest. They don't add anything and make the BG a little "messy" (IMO only - I know many others will feel differently)

Very nice shot. I agree with Sandy, a little more "cleaning" around the large branch will be good

I have cloned the twigs away from the bird and thinned other twigs in the picture to get a better and less cluttered balance. I have also rotated picture 3 degrees CCW. Please let me know if this repost works better and why. Thanks.
