Nice strong highlights on the branch and the mountains. In the large version the mid-ground feels a bit flat and maybe pushing the highlights there just a bit might result in a better bridge between foreground and background - maybe worth a try. Otherwise that a very good one, Daniel.

The foreground and background are grand Daniel. The mid ground is quite flat as Andreas mentioned. Maybe a selective contrast boost. Not sure what would work best.

I was going to say that the middle ground seems a bit gray too, and that working the contrast more here might be nice. I really like the way the mountain is a beacon for the sky.

Love the detail, design, and luminance of that snag in the foreground. It could easily be an image on its own. That said, the mountain is outstanding, but as others suggested, the midrange tones perhaps need a bump in contrast to help connect the foreground and background. Either way, a beautiful image.

I really like this photo for all it's elements, but I do have to echo the group about the middle ground. Both the mountain and the foreground are interesting enough to pull me away from the middle but it would be nice to have that somehow tie the two together. I think your choice to make this B and W was perfect! Nice job.

Love the foreground Daniel, awesome peak in the background. Middle ground not so interesting. Perhaps a slightly lower perspective to get rid of the middle?

Simple, beautifully composed and superbly atmospheric. Love it!

Not too worried about the middle-ground, tbh. It provides separation while emphasising distance.
