The gathering

This was taken when I first shot the three sisters formation in the superstition mountains. I purposely cut off the tops of the three saguaros to make it feel as if I were completely surrounded by them. All of a sudden, this amazing pink glow showed up along the horizon and I started firing shots like crazy. Would like to hear on this one, do the cut off saguaros take away from the image? Comments and critiques appreciated.

I don't mind the cut off saguaros, as doing so helps emphasize the great light.

I think the cut off saguaros add perspective Peter. Gorgeous light on the saguaros and beautiful color in the sky. I like the overall separation as well.

Thank you Rob and Eva. I thought the cut off tops did add some perspective, but I wasn't sure if it was just me.

Works very nicely , Peter. Really like the way the saguaros pickup the cloud glow.
