Sorry I haven't been participating much lately but I'll try to get back into posting some comments. This is a brand new image from a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway this week.

Very lovely black and white conversion. The layers in the mountains and clouds work nicely together. Also, the tonal range is looks spot on to me.

This feels sort of like a "light sandwich" with the lighter tones between the darker tones. Could maybe see burning the ULC a bit to add to this effect. I like the sense of depth the different tones provide to the scene.
