Mystery Tree

A landscape with a tree on a rocky outcrop being the focus point. Unfortunately I cannot name this tree as I was unable to identify it. Image captured in Kruger, South Africa.

Converted using Silver Efex Pro 2 and toned in Lightroom 3

Very interesting lighting, Mario. It almost looks like cloud rays coming out of the dark. Maybe because it's black and white? Anyway, it's intriguing.

I like the infrared quality to this and the way the clouds add a wonderful sense of mystery.

The infrared qualities here are what work for me. Love the eerie light here Mario.

Great conversion, I like how some of the 'swirling'? clouds are highlighted. The one tree stands out nicely.
