The bloom looks really nice especially with the backlighting in the RUC. The lower third showing the bg is not that interesting and I think a square frame filling image would be just fine.

Beautiful, Ned. I like the backlighting, although I may try to lighten the center of the flower. I also agree with Gary's crop suggestion.
