Sunrise at the Marsh
by Ken Archer
This photo was made in early Decemeber at a local wildlife refuge. The fog was lifting about the same time the sun was breaking over the distant mountain top. I hung out at this flooded field full of ducks and geese this magical morning taking photos as small groups of geese would leave the water to feed in nearby grain fields.
Canon MkIV, 100-400mm @ 135mm, f8, 1/1600, ISO 640, manual spot meter, I deliberately under-exposed the scene to accent the sunrays
I appreciate all your comment and suggestions

The geese silhouettes are wonderful, but - for me - the sun rays really make this image -
