One of the best snowy owl photos I've seen. Such great detail and love the mood. The large version is incredible.

Beautiful! She sure "looks" miserable - but I know she is warm and dry underneath the outer layer.
Exquisite detail, great eyes, and nice perch.
Very unique image, and one I hope salvages that bad weather for you!

The look in this owl's eyes are priceless. What an image!! I like the centered composition, the log and lovely background. It doesn't get any better than this.

I dont' think I've ever seen a wet snowy owl photo before! Looks like you were able to get pretty close. An unique photo, for sure.

Way to cool, that is certainly one wet owl. I like the composition and detail on the larger image and you have got some very unique snowy images that others did not. Well done, the larger image was a pleasure to view.

Outstanding image, the techs are perfect -and by the owl's posture she seems to be very comfortable with your presence. Quite honestly Angela the poor weather offered you an incredibly unique opportunity...and you cashed in big! Congrats.

Fantastic - really unique, great perch (I love the focal length btw which demonstrates that you weren't too close) and the wet look gives this bird a real attitude. Gotta love the ISO capabilities of the D3

I want to say 'soggy moggy' but I suppose it's not, but that's what it reminds me of. Great detail Angela
