Despite the name these birds are largely nectar feeders and love the flowers of banana plants. I usually shy away from shots that are not pin sharp but I really liked the pose of this bird.

Rob, great pose!! For me the sharpness is just fine. Good detail in the bird, also like that it is holding on to the plant. Thanks for sharing.
