A Small Brick Wall

I haven't been around in a while, mostly out shooting sports ($), so it came as a pleasant surprise to find this new forum. This was taken in October after the Chicago Marathon as I was wandering around trying out my newest passion; urban landscapes. It is downtown, but I don't want to create an icon. LOL

Real nice urban abstract. Fine combo of colors and grit. I would not mind seeing it a bit bigger, as even the big version is on the small side.

That's a really neat wall and I like your composition. The grate at the top provides a nice change of pace and the light fall off towards the bottom got me wondering about a reflection (clearly not true, but it adds interest).

I agree with Mr. Harley, I'd like to see this larger, since there is a lot of nice detail and color. It's a grate abstract.

I'd love to find a wall this!
