Very nice soft mood in this image, not that it worries me to much but it is split 50/50 almost, but it's still very nice

I like the light, color, and mood. Would love to see the full size print.

Gary, the light and the mist are the key elements in this shot for me. I like this very much. And I can tell a breeze sprang up so the mist probably did not last long.

Gary,
You always tease us with a wonderful image, but in a small presentation. I would like to see this larger and think in a large print this would be awesome.

What a gorgeous array of colours and mood. I actually prefer it with a little cropped from the top to remove the moon - this places the focus solely on the bands of colour.

This is just plain great to look at. The color palette is just exquisite. I too feel the moon doesn't have much to contribute here.

A very beautiful image, as said in another comment, it has a very nice soft mood feeling to it. Great job. :toast:

This is a beautiful image! To me it has the illusion that the bottom half (tree) is under water and the FG is seaweed.
Excellent work!

Gary,

I'm with Eric, trim a little off the top and prefect! BTW, is that movement in the background tree? Just wondering, to me it doesn't take away from the pic, awesome!

I like the shot very much. Re the crop...at this size, I'd probably vote in favor of it. But viewing a larger print, I might feel entirely differently.

It's not a big deal to me either way, however, the image shines regardless.

What Jim Jirka and Eric Fredine say, Gary. I love it, but it SCREAMS "MAKE ME LARGER!"

Splendid image, with a slightly spooky feel. I'm surprised no one else commented on that, perhaps it's just me?

Hi Gary,
it is great to see you photos!
It has a other-worldly look IMO, or, as Marshall said, a spooky look.

Great shot, but I liked it cropped at the top. The grasses in the front make it for me, especially the way the lead me into the tree and mist. I find the moon detracts from the foreground. Love the textures and colors in the shot.

I love the ground fog. And the moon is such a bonus. Really really nice.

Gary,

that is very nice! I think the moon adds a lot to the picture. It has a "Lord of the Rings" mood for me.
