Lensbaby !

I thought I throw in a Lensbaby shot just to mix things up a little have not posted one for awhile.

F4 aperture disk.
But I also stacked the 4x macro and wide angle Ram to get this close and wide.

Wonderful choice of the lensbaby, Lorna - love the softness surrounding the line of the petal edge. Great comp and nice high key effect too. Beautiful !!

Images like this one remind me I really need to get a Lensbaby. Outstanding rear to front comp and I like the BG as well. Excellent!

Lorna. a beautiful simplicity and a diagonal angle in your style. I love this photo, its softness (the green may be too saturated? It's only a question. I like all your photos.
Take care.

Wonderful softness to this photo and an outstanding comp. I like how the stem just sort of fades off into nothingness. Just beautiful, Lorna!

Lorna: OK, if you put a border around this . . . . Just kidding. In this case I like the borderless presentation a lot and the color palette and flow through the frame is most excellent. 2+ thumbs up! >=))>

I usually don't like the lensbaby effect in most images I see, but it works very well in this image. It gives it a very artistic look. The color of the flower stands out nicely from the high key background.

Lorna:
A very artistic presentation of Calla (are you sure this is not a tulip?).
I like how the flower emerge out of the container in the bg. Nicely done :toast:

I like the color of the bloom, and the high key look Lorna. Honestly, I am not liking what the Lensbaby has done for the stem...

Lovely, Lorna. I agree with Gigi on the green; the idea to me is the hue should fade as the distance increases.

Like the perspective and the resulting depth in the image. Beautiful as is, but do hope you tried a straight shot on this as well. :wavey:
