I really love these big guys bringing sticks to the nest. :) :) Like the previous image, this one has the same blown-out patch of white at the top of the head.

Comments, opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

No, no HDR. Which blue do you mean, Dennis?

This must be a breeding male as I have never seen one with this beautiful coloring

Good pose, Barbara. Nice colors too, bit soft IMO.

Nice capture of the action! It does look abit soft, but IMHO not enough to distract. The background to me seems slightly magenta, may just be my monitor. Thanks for sharing.

Barbara,
The white area on the very top of the head does not make this a bad image. It doesn't bother me at all in fact. There is a nice glow on the legs and the left wing from being side lit. Nice capture Barbara.

Very nice picture, Barbara. Perfect timing. Love the sunlight on the beak, wings and legs.

Nice light shining through the wing and beak, Barbara. Cool pose. It seems to take them forever to land sometimes.

Good light. I love it. I can only dream of getting a shot that good of any bird! I usually get them as they fly away from the nest as I drive by. Why do birds have to be so skittish? All we want is their picture!
