About the same location as "Almost" on another day at sunset. I find this area to be incedibly beautiful, and challenging to photograph at the same time. It was nice to get some fleeting warm light just before the sun went below the horizon. large version included.

Cool! I really like this one, Chris! The life of the clouds in back (great cap cloud!) stands in nice contrast to the dead snags. :toast:

Your processing looks great Chris. The color of the sky and light on the trees is beautiful too. A nice, clean layered composition allows the eye to thoroughly explore the scene. This is a good one!

You got a lot of depth here. I might crop right and bottom, going for an 8x10 just to eliminate some negative space. Just me though.

Looks excellent, Chris. I like the progression of dead trees across the frame, receding a bit toward the distance. It really creates some nice depth and also adds a lot of interest in each part of the frame.

Maybe a little off the right side, other than that, don't have any suggestions. Great light which was handled very well, and great subject matter, with lots of depth. Nice work!

Love this, Chris. Those snags seem to glow in that evening light and create a wonderful contrast with the forest in the background and the mountains. The stark, rock strewn landscape ain't bad either. Really, really nice.

This image really sticks out to me. I like the simplicity of it, while it still has lots of detail to explore. Looks like some incredible weather/clouds and light!

Nice shot Chris, I like how the snags stand out against the darker surroundings. The hint of fading sunlight on the landscape is sweet! :toast:

Wow, that's something different this time! The dead trees and the light on them, and the fog covered peak in the distance are a great combination. This is really unique looking. :toast:
