Beech leaves around here fall in November, hence the name.

Love the lines and patterns created by the curling leaves and the crispness of the entire image resulting from the nice light and excellent processing. I'd prefer the leaf in the LRC to be sharp, but not a deal breaker. Absent a stack, it's tough to get everything perfectly sharp in this type of image.

Good shot. Lots of nice textures and lines. Agree about the oof leaf, but it's a minor nit.

The light and color are delicious--like butterscotch. Lots of interesting texture and lines. Very nice

I can hear the crackle made when you walked up to this scene. Can feel their brittleness as well. Interesting comp with the wonderful curls and lines. The one green spotted leaf in the background I'm not sure about... really grabs my attention.

Bob: I like leafscapes in general and this one in particular. A touch more DOF would suit me better as well and perhaps a polarizer to cut some of the reflectivity of the surfaces. Well seen.>=))>

Love the feel of depth in this image, Bob. I also like the wonderful color of the leaves. I agree about with some others about wishing for more DOF. A crop on the right excluding the whole OOF leaf would help that problem if you wished.

Superb tonality, Bob, and somehow the mass of swirling leaves makes for a compelling composition.

Bob:
Very crisp image with good tonal range. Like the curly line pattern and the composition. Wish for a little more DOF to get everything in focus and a polarizer to tame the highlights.

Loved the lines , curls and patterns. Wish that OOF leaf at bottom right either was in focus or not there..
