Okay, okay---it WAS taken mid-day, but that was all I could do up there! The wildflowers were absolutely incredible. Tons of Indian Paintbrush, Columbines, and others (I don't know my flowers) covered the mountain sides...
We went camping up there, and my parents spotted a mountain lion, about two miles from our campsite. Also, during the visit, we saw three bull moose. It turned out to be very eventful, for the amount of time we spent.
Anyways, I hope the colors show up right this time. Lately I've been having trouble when I post them, so we'll see...

C & C appreciated!

Lovely; I like how natural the presentation is. The details must be exquisite in a larger version so pity there isn't one to enjoy!

Fantastic job at processing, especially for a mid day shot. I could see selectively pumping up the lavender color in some of the columbines.

A beautiful scene, Nathan. For me the blue sky and white clouds make a great backdrop for this very pleasing scene.

Sweet. I went to college in Laramie, and we used to escape to the mountains whenever we could. It's been several decades since I was there. Gorgeous take on those flowers. This is very nice even though you were dealing with tough light.

We passed through Laramie on the way there. Extraordinary terrain out there! I hope to make it out again...
