From AlAin Desert, in a windy day, Blended 9 exposures with various focuses to combine them together and achieve this huge depth of field.
Well, this image was taken during the Landscape course with Marc Adamus here in the United Arab Emirates.

Here is a coverage of the course we had in the Emirates with Marc Adamus .. Unfortunately, it is in Arabic but you can enjoy the pictures

Your comp is pretty solid and the processing looks good except for what appears to be some ghosting above the top of the highest dune (maybe its just blowing sand.) Feels a little tight on the right side and I think the foreground textures could have been reduced to 1/3 of the frame with the triangle lining up in the corner. Overall, pretty sweet and the pictures from your workshop are awesome.

very nice. the lines of the sand dunes lead smoothly through the image and the blowing sand adds mood and impact.

Very dreamy here. Love the shot. Love the diagonals and left to right reading.

I too see some ghosting.

I love the wind and the gradual loss of visibility as your eye heads off in to the distance.

The gallery from the workshop was fun to look at too. I think you got Marc to pose for more images of himself that he has had taken in probably 2 years. :)

I love the high key tones in this. Gives the image a great arid feel to it.

I also love the workshop photos and the text, I can read Arabic. I especially like the guys walking in the sand barefoot, so typically Bedouin, I love it.

Love the lines and textures of your image, and how you have rendered the blowing sand. The light has a wonderful, luminous quality that is very appealing. Outstanding.

Wonderful conditions for photography . . . well at leas the light. I like the sense of the dunes as dynamic shapes that this photo implies.

I like the soft, dreamy quality that the blowing sand creates with the diffused light, very nice!

A very strong composition and I just love the tones that you have presented, especially how things gradually fade away into the distance. A really nice job on this one, Abdullaziz.

And, thanks for sharing the pictures from the workshop. Looks like it was a great event.

Wow, that wind sure was blowing! Wonderful capture Abdullaziz. The light catching the haze of sand creates an atmosphere of mystery and romance. Something about the desert that is very seductive and beautiful.

Wonderful scene, I might even try to push the highlights on the sand a little further. There appears to be some banding issues in the sky, hard to tell at this size. Could just be from the blowing sand. :toast:
