A beautiful still life. The color and texture in the lichens and leaf are great and the composition is classic.

I really appreciate the larger addition to study this. The rock provides and interesting contrast.

The fern leaf is very attractive and flows nicely through the frame, but for me, the lichens and especially the smattering of pink lichen really make the image special.

Outstanding, Michael, really an outstanding image. Love the delicate detail of the fern, and the wonderful color and textures of the lichen. The large image is superb.

This is outstanding. So much better than what I'm used to seeing here. I love the subtle colors and textures. I imagine this one will make a lovely print.

OUTSTANDING Michael. Wonderfully sharp and great detail, but what really attracts me is the great coloration of the lichens and the glow of the fern. Beautiful composition too.

Super detail in this shot Michael, the larger version looks stunning. The little hint of pink in the lichens is gorgeous.

I echo Tony's sentiments. This is a really fine image. The composition is strong and really shows off both the fern and the lichen. I am also enjoying the glow from the light.

Really love the colour here Michael! Of course the detail is crazy nice as well and the diagonal comp works well. Great stuff!

Outstanding image, Mike. I love everything about this intimate landscape. The textures and colors of the lichen covered granite along with the diagonal placement of the fern work beautifully together.

Michael - Nice textures in this, and the contrasting colors create nice separation. There is something about the processing, especially the fern, that looks a little odd, but in a good way. Just can't put my finger on exactly what. Nicely done.
