Image of the bluffs below Great Falls with a light coating of snow. This was shot from Olmsted Island on the Maryland side. I wasn't particularly fond of the color version of this shot. How does the B&W work for you? Thank you for your comments and suggestions.

Tech:
Nikon D3100
Samyang 85mm 1.4

You really need to view the large image to appreciate the detail, in my opinion. Great work Andrew.

Hi Andrew, this strikes me as illustrative of the dilemma of Great Falls, Maryland side, there are lots of textures in the rocks, but very few colors and and it's so hard to get down to the river. That makes the kinds of shots that NPNer's love challenging. I think your b&w treatment emphasizes the textures very nicely, but this is a pretty static view. Be glad to have you join Tom Hilton and myself on area outings.
