pod lizard

I loved the pose of this lizard while resting on a seed pod. the snail in the pod made this close-up a little more special.
I added a little glamour glow to decrease the contrast a bit, so his skin would look more velvety. I also desaturated it a bit. The green, as taken, was distracting me from the lizard.Hope you like the effect.

Cool shot--he seems to be eyeing you. Like the desaturated BG.

I think the desaturation of the background works well here. The pose of the lizard is very cool, and the snail does add a very special touch to this.

Great job on the processing. the lizard stands out nicely, good detail. Seed pod looks pretty interesting, too. I could see making it the subject of a shot even without the lizard.

Thanks everybody for the flattery! I love it, when you think one of my photos is good :jump:

And Nancy, these seed pods are very cool....I have taken photos of them with seeds and without....I'll have to post one of my better ones with the seeds inside, not a snail!
