Wow. This is very striking! It's incredible you got that perfect reflection along with the great pose of the large animal. Did you play around with panos of this?

Thanks Nathan ....... No, no panos at all. I was camping right there and this what I enjoyed that morning. Incredible without the animal ...... extraordinary with it.

The silhouette works really well here.Beautiful colors. If this were mine i would crop off the top. A pano would be great here.

Beautifully rich color but not over saturated at all. The giraffe really brings this to another level - you were very fortunate.

I hate to disagree with Bill,
But I like this crop... the deep blue is spectacular.
Another great image on this Gallery.
Nice work Mario.

I was wondering what that leaning silhouette was from the thumbnail. Great surprise that it was a giraffe.

Beautiful lighting & silhouettes. It almost looks like the giraffe was posing for you! I echo others' comments about cropping this to a pano, but it is also very nice as presented. :toast:

That's neat, Mario. The comp and light make for a very graphic image. The silhouettes feel a bit unsharp.

Glad I clicked on the thumb Mario! Didn't know that was a giraffe! To my eye it looks slightly tilted down to the right. Other than that, wonderful capture!

Welcome to NPN and the Landscape Gallery Mario! What a wonderful image and nature story. I think you're absolutely right - incredible without the giraffe, extraordinary with it.

Personally the blue is slightly saturated, but certainly withing the realm of personal taste. A pano would also be effective, but not necessary to tell this great nature story.

Thanks for posting and we look forward to your images and participation.
