White-throated T'creeper

Came across this White-throated Treecreeper while walking though sub-alpine eucalypt woodland near Canberra, Australia.

Canon 7D, EF500 f/4 + 1.4x, handheld, ISO 400, 1/250, f/6.3, vertical crop from horizontal image. Digitally removed a curved twig at lower right.

Simon this is gorgeous. Exquisite colours and overall palette, great comp, details and graphical feel. I live well-executed shots taken from this angle, and this most certainty is one. I could stretch for somthing to pick on but I simply really like this as presented. Man, I like the colours on this bird, which probably is a reflection of some great processing as well.

I really like the composition with the branch going diagonal through the frame. Very interesting color scheme and feather pattern with that one orange dot under they eye. You also have some interesting names for your birds down there. Excellent shot Simon, way to go.

What a cool looking bird Simon. The colors are great. The BG really adds to this shot and diag. perch is a plus. Very nice.
