Nikon D300, Sigma 150. F/3.5, 1/250, ISO 200.
This dreamy meadow scene is one of my favourites taken last year. Buttercups, wildflowers and Timothy in abundance, I hope you enjoy it. Comments appreciated.

Dreamy alright. It's -14 outside and I'm dreaming of the warm rays and enjoying the meadow Albert. The best part of the dream are there are no bugs!!

I certainly agree with the others about the dreamy aspects of this. Your selective focus and composition are perfect and really evoke a restful/peaceful feeling. The palette of colors really supports your vision here. Very painterly. Outstanding.

I've always loved shots like this...they appear so idealic that they can't be real yet they are. Excellent execution.

The colors are terrific and the image really glows. I do wish that the purple flower just above and to the right of center was in focus.

I love it, Albert, the colors and light and dreaminess. I especially love the green.

Albert: I'll echo Mark with regard to the purple flower near the center. It would be the natural point of attention if it was unobstructed and sharp. I finally did see the sharp small yellow and white flower to its right but I don't think it is a strong enough anchor point. All in all though I think this is well seen and nicely captured. >=))>

Wonderfully impressionistic feel to this, Albert ! The range of soft tones, the soft-sharp mix and the occasional blue peeping out make this for me a first rate image. Really well conceived !

Albert:
I am a sucker for 'impressionist' images so I am really enjoying this. Love the dreamy look.
I can see the sharply focus yellow and white bloom almost at the powerpoint. I agree with Mark and BIll that the purple is competing with the little focused bloom. May be desaturating the purple some might help. Also you might want to consider trimming a bit along the bottom which is rather featureless and does not contribute much to the overall image. Still a fabulous image and would look good in large print on the wall.
