Pasqueflower (Anemone patens)

I love these little flowers in all stages of growth. This seed head for some reason reminded me of an old lady, bent to her gardening. More of a documentary shot than an artistic one but most of my flora images lean that way. Thanks for stopping by.

Once I attempted a similar shot, but looked nothing like yours. Very good job and a good lesson for me, too. :wavey:

The spent Pasque flower has always interested me, specially after a light shower. It collects some great water drops too. I love this frame, Nancy - very graphical with good front to back DOF. Very fine details have also been reproduced.

Nancy:
Documentary with artistic twist. Good control of exposure of the white.

I love the lines and the detail and the curves. It seems like I can touch the flower.

Nancy: Not sure I've seen one of these captured in this stage and I have a long memory. The subject itself is artistic and I like your DOF choice especially. 2 thumbs up! >=))>

This is quite an interesting flower and looks like it would be fun to photograph. I like this close-up shot, Nancy. We get to see the details of the curving tendrils how they emerge from the center. Nice capture.

I do think this is artistic. It is a unique flower, one that I've never seen before.
