I thought about naming this image, "This is my good side", but that did not seem fitting for this regal Pyrrhuloxia pose. This images was taken in South Texas spring 2011. Comments and suggestions always appreciated.

Dottie, a very good presentation, whatever the title. There is a very minor halo on the lower LHS of the bird, probably from sharpening. Easily taken care of, and I am being really picky. Excellent photo! :toast:

Dottie. This image really grabs me. I like the pose and of course the wonderful details you were able to capture. The background colors are so complimentary to the bird. Very nice.

Killer shot, Dottie. If it were mine, I might back the sharpening down just a tiny touch, or maybe select the bird, refine the edge and then just sharpen the bird. Minor nits on a fine shot of a cool bird.

Okay to all those sharpening experts...you got me  What do you think about the sharpening now? That's why I love this site. It forces one to improve. Many times I just don't see what I need to see

Dottie I much prefer the op as it is sharper and has more impact. My only wish would be for just a tiny bit more room on the left. I really like the detail in the bird and the perch as well as the soft bg.
