Column of Oranges

Another image in my series of scanner art. Orange slices and orange zest scanned into a .tiff file and processed using Topaz Lab's BuzSim selection. I rotated the image several ways but decided that I like this arrangement the best.

I recently purchased an Epson Perfection V33 Scanner and this was my first scan. My other scanner work okay, but it did not give me the clarity like this new scanner. Comments, thoughts ... all are always welcome. Thanks for taking a look.

I really like both the idea and the execution of the idea. I especially like the BuzSim treatment for the orange slices.

I really enjoy the emphasized texture and high dynamic range in the slices.

Nice composition. Somehow I find myself wondering what it would look like rotated 90 degrees to the right....
