One last one of these. I think my main question about this one is do the petals need to be more "perfect" than these petals for an image like this?

Comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Barbara: Not sure how these petals could be more perfect  so this sure looks good for me. Nice work on the yellow especially. >=))>

Everything about this seems just right to me, Barbara, and I see no problem with the petals. The yellows have come out beautifully I think.

It's a great image with details throughout and yummy yellows. As to more "perfect", let me climb up on my soapbox. We all regularly point out (or clone out) minor flaws that are naturally there. It's my opinion that the closer you look at the natural world the more imperfections you find, so at least part of me is inclined to include natural flaws because they are a key part of the natural world...without flaws, there's nothing to drive evolution.

I particularly like the off center composition with the petals radiating from there in a curved fashion. Some great details in the center too.

It all looks perfect to me but if anything, I'd pull back the brightness/exposure a little bit to make the yellows a bit more punchier.

Barbara, the petals could be made more "perfect" legitimately, if that is your goal. In terms of the composition, my instincts tell me to leave them alone. They do their job of drawing the eye to the center of the flower, which is their over-arching purpose.

Hi Barbara :wavey: Very well composed. with splendid detail and color. Agree with Ran on the brightness/exposure to make the yellows more vibrant
