Not sure if this is my best image of the year but I think it’s my favorite and it seems to get the most response at the gallery where I have a B&W exhibit. I call it “Flowing Rock”.

Love the lines and textures here, and works very well in B&W. For balance, I might suggest a little more room at the top and a little less on the bottom.
PS: Saturday at midnight is the end of each week's WC - so this morning, Sunday, starts the next week's theme, which is
"a single element gets all the attention."
Very nice image here, though!

Unfortunately, your image won't be eligible for the Best Shot of 2011 challenge because it ended on the 7th... but it's a gorgeous shot just the same. I agree with Sandy about the top part of the image. It feels a little crowded up there. Otherwise, this is wonderful. I love the patterns in the rock and the leading lines that take us through the image. What a wonderful place! Well done!
