Early Light and Fog
by Nick Bristol
This is a picture I made this past fall along the Wisconsin River backwaters. I enjoyed the warm sunrise light with the fog and the way it looked with the leaves of this tree. I have always loved these kind of quiet and peaceful mornings. Thanks for looking and any thoughts, and Happy New Year to all of you.

When I look closely at the larger image, it seems to be tilting CW (noticeable in the rear shoreline), but no one else mentioned this, and maybe this is an optical illusion.
just wonderful

Marc, I couldn't get my moose to go with me that morning!
Mark S. The Native American Flute Music sounds perfect to me!
Scott, I think it is level but I will take a closer look again. I know the river curves around there and it does make it look like it has a bit of cw tilt. Maybe it could use a little ccw rotation so I will look at it. Thanks much!
A great new year to all of you!

Beautiful. It's all about the light. A cliche perhaps, but images like this make it all true.
