Another photo from the same location on the Merced River in Yosemite from this past autumn. I really love the delicate qualities in the trees and the silky elegance of the water.

Pretty fall Merced river scene, Youssef. It looks a little on the warm side in the background to me, but then if you ask Lon, he will tell you I must be color blind.

I like this one better. Light and colors are similar, but this comp feels more solid.

Lovely.

Now I'm going to have to go back and look at the other..... I also like it with the bottom 15% cropped off, but that's just me. Lovely foliage, it's actually what my goes to rather than the water. Nice.

Youssef,

I think I have to say that I prefer the previous horizontal image. The composition works just great with this one, but something about the processing is throwing me off. at least for me, and I may just be being picky, the very top of the image looks a little off in terms of processing and the whites at the bottom seem a little brighter, relative to the rest of the scene. To me, the UL quadrant is a bit more yellow than I think it might otherwise be. Not sure I can pinpoint any more than that, and it's just one person's opinion anyway.
