EDIT: I was really rushed and in a hurry when I first viewed and commented on this. I'm looking at it today in a more leisurely environment. This is truly outstanding Sandy, especially the large view. Perfectly composed and so compelling. I keep coming back to it time and time again.

This does look peaceful in a lonely kind of way. I like the processing and the almost total white tonality in the scene.

Oh Sandy, this is absolutely my favorite non-avian image of yours. Except for being out alone with the birds, I could stay and observe this scene for hours and now I can thanks to you.

Outstanding Sandy! I love this image. Quite fitting for the season and Happy Holidays to you as well.

The simplicity is obvious, but there is detail that keeps the eye in the scene. I like the forms and subtle light and shadow, especially around the lone tree.
