Another from Zion. Sort of the antithesis to the Narrows. Larger image provided. Comments welcome.

i like the wide perspective but wonder if the top is not a little chopped off? I wonder, further, if a stitched image that included a little more up top might not have worked?

Very nice, Scott - love what's going on in the water there.

Nice composition Scott and the autumnal background colours are really nice.

Stuart, I had actually cropped some off the top to put more emphasis on the water. Here is the original comp. Curious as to which people prefer.

Definitely the repost for me . . . my thoughts upon viewing the original were the same as Stuart's. Very nice take from Zion.

I think I like the repost as well Scott. It does open it up a bit and the red canyon walls add to the shot.

Scott,
I had the same reaction as Stuart and think your original hits it just right. Even in your original, it's clear that you're trying the emphasize the water, but you still get a sense and feel of Zion. the posted version just seems a little cut off - on purpose. The original is an excellent take away and fresh perspective from the park.

Repost looks nice, I like the contrast between the warm and cool tones and the water texture is perfect.

Scott, Glad I got to see your original shot here. Although both are nice I think the original uncropped image works much better, at least for me it does. Great colors and I like the water movement through the rocks. Nice work! Happy Holidays to you.
