This picture was meade in the first winter storm in the Asturias (Spain) coast. The breaking wave has a height of 20 meters or so.

This works well in balck & white.Looks very dramatic. A beautiful scene. I would love to see just a bit more details in the darks.

The composition is excellent and I like the way you captured the breaking wave on the distant rock. Very dramatic scene. I'd be curious to see the color version as well.

Bill and Phil, thanks for the comments. The black lines in the left are oil stains then in color does not look good. I have another color versions but not with this increible wave

Nice capture of the water textures, Jose. It's hard to appreciate the scale, but the drama sure plays out.

Jose,

A dramatic and powerful seascape. If I could wish for something, it would be for just a tad less sea foam for just a bit more texture and even contrast in the turmoil of the surf, but that's minor. The comp and positioning of the peak action is perfect. The b&w works wonderfully. Processing excellent.
