Early Geese

I took this last week, shortly after the eclipse finished here in central Kansas. A distant fog bank obscured the horizon. Geese were flying everywhere, and this flock came straight at me. The simplicity of the scene resonates with me. 7D, ISO 400, 1/250, f/11, small crop. C&C is always welcome and appreciated.

I really like the simplicity here, Rob. A nice clean canvas.

Did this get posted in the wrong gallery? I keep searching for man-made elements.

Thanks folks. Max, the man-made element here is the dike. Hard to tell what it really is at this scale though.

Nice vision, Rob. The minimalist approach really tells the story of the open prairie and emphasizes that huge goose V.
