Ridge Top

This was taken from the AT going through Shenandoah National Park this fall. Late in the afternoon I caught the light running down the ridge and spotlighting the valley in front.

Comments and suggestions welcome.

The comp looks fine and the moment seems very interesting. The blown out area up there is just a little too big for me.

I totally agree with Andreas. A small crop from the left side and some selective levels or curves on the top portion of the sky would really improve this image.
