Ice Reed

The edges of a local sandpit have started to freeze, with ice forming on the reeds. I found this icy reed this morning, and found the shape of the ice and the green in the reed interesting. 7D, ISO 400, 1/160, f/16, minimal crop. C&C always welcome and appreciated.

This is top notch. I love images like this; intimate, mysterious, unique to a moment in time that can never be captured again. colors, details and balance are all extremely fine in this one. Very Nice, indeed.

Rob:
Engaging and unique image. Like the dapple light and the reed through the clear water. :toast:

Rob: What a great find and IMO a fantastic and somewhat mysterious shot. I especially like the lighting and the color of the ice. Really fine work. >=))>

Beautiful lights and shades over and under the water. It's a very interesting photo for me.
Take care.
